The private residence that was investigated requested that we do not use their identity, therefore for this report we will call the resident's
Jane and Joe. GSGHS was called to this house which was built in 1849 by a popular craftsman known throughout PA during that time as a great builder. Including the current resident there have been three owners prior.

The reported activity: "Jane " reported seeing many full body shadows as well as several period dressed spirits. " Jane " was once
poked in the back on the second floor. She also reported seeing black cat's running about the house. Several "friends " that visited over the years have reported strange things as well including movements on the bed next to them as well as strange photo's.
Joe also reported strange sightings of people as well as strange smell's. Those scent's included, tobacco, orange smell and also perfume. No strange noises have been reported.

The surrounding area including the property was also a base camp for Washington’s men during the American Revolution. Many
of his men had perished in the area due to starvation as well as succumbing to their injuries from war. Also Jane spoke of a past resident that lived there with her sister, they were both elderly. One day one of the sisters called in the milk man to ask him of a favor and when he entered the house one of the sisters asked the milk man to talk to her other sister saying that she would not speak to her.
when the milk man approached the elderly woman sitting in her rocker the other sister replied " she has not talked to me in days and she smell due to the fact she wont leave the chair. Well the milk man kindly told the woman her sister had passed. So this house definitely has it's share of history and sorrows, so we decided to investigate.

The investigators: Boni B, Rob R, Wheytom, Dave G,Tracy, Dawn and Debbie. All the investigators excluding Dave G and Rob R, did not know of any of the reported activity. We keep the investigators head clear as not to taint the investigation.

THE INVESTIGATION: First Dave and Rob started the interview proccess which was filmed and documented for our group's archives, then the team gathered for a tour of the residence. We proceded to set up the remote IR camera's and monitor station. The monitors were manned by Wheytom. Then we broke up into three separate groups , spread out throughout the house. Rob and Boni carried
along two digital cameras as well as a camcorder with night vision. They also had thermometers (digital) and audio recorder's, and they were situated on the third floor. Dave and Tracy had like equipment as did Dawn and Debbie. Over 200 pictures were
taken in all, as well as six audio recorders for EVP'S. Two of the teams carried along EMF detectors. During the investigation we noticed a lot of temperature fluctuations as well as several hot spot's were located with the emf detector's. All of the positive
emf readings were double checked to make sure of no electrical interference. We man aged to capture several evp's and proof positive pictures. On the video's we did record several different orb's with their own path and self emitting light. On several occasions Rob R experienced cold spot's between the second and third floor's in the stair case area. It seemed as if they were surrounding him. Boni B and Dawn also seen several shadows in the same stair case. This investigation seemed to provide proof positive that the residence definitely has some paranormal activity and will have to be re-investigated in the near future to try and re-examine those points of interest. It is the view of this team that this residence undoubtedly has PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and there will be a follow up investigation.
