GSGHS was referred a case by David
Roundtree of SPI investigations, the investigation
was situated in Eastern PA. The client had informed
us about strange occurrences at the residence. For
instance, a garbage can lid that flips around on it's
own, pushing of residents, touching and voices. GSGHS
dispatched a team right away. The team consisted of
Robert Reid, Boni Bates, Whettom, Gary Franta and David
Goldstein.
Upon entering the residence we met with the client and discussed the
happening as well as the locations in which to focus our investigation.
We set up several monitors in the dining room, which had no reported
activity. We placed several cameras around the dwelling. One in the nursery,
another in adjacent second floor room. One in master bedroom and another
in laundry room where it was reported that missing household items always
turned up.
The night went on as we made our base readings, we found the average
temperature of the dwelling to be about 60 F. There were noticeable EMF
hot spots but were soon ruled out as electrical. Boni, Rob and Gary moved
to the nursery to do EVP work. It seemed quite and not a lot was to be
reported except a noticeable temperature drop near the crib. The drop
was dramatic. The temperature easily dropped from 59 F to 52 F in seconds
with no apparent cause. We checked the nearby windows, which were warmer
than room temperature. We found no normal cause, so therefore the change
in temperature was unexplained at that time.
The team proceeded with the investigation working on EVP's, as Tom and
David tended the monitors. No physical attributes were documented. We
wrapped up after several hours and proceeded home for the night.
The review of material was fruitful, we found one camera anomaly, the
camera that was placed near the laundry room caught strange flickering
lights near the front door of the home as well as we recorded several
clear and remarkable EVP'S. Upon contacting the client I discussed that
I had some material to reveal to them but did not discuss the findings
over the phone. When the client told us about the activity picking up
more and becoming very annoying we asked if we could come back right
away and set up another investigation and they agreed. So we planned
another investigation with the client as well as a reveal of previous
material before the investigation started.
