Our mission is to reveal the truth behind the legends of time.  The stories from centuries of things that go bump in the night, haunt you in your dreams, surprise you with a tug on your hair, an artic chill that goes through your body, even if the enviroment is 80 degrees', if you feel someone watching you, or see a shadow.  We are here to investigate what the scientists say "aren't real" ....GHOSTS!  We will present to you our evidence...and you decide, are they real or not?

Boni Bates

At an early age, I was introduced to the world of paranormal, by opening my closet door at the young age of 5, and seeing two faces of an elderly couple floating towards the ceiling. I also sensed that I was being watched at times, and I could tell when it was a good feeling, or bad. I learned to cope with this, with a dear aunt, who also had experience with the paranormal.
I taught Space Science in a local high school, assisted by N.A.S.A(National Aeronautics & Space Administration),was an Executive producer for a TV show called "On Call" with the cable company. I also was Executive producer for two live telethons for the victims of a hurricane disaster in California. I also had experience in the editing of certain programs for cable TV as well. I became a Private Detective for several years, and also worked in the evidence department of Old Bridge Police.
I am a certified Paranormal Investigator and certified Ghost Hunter. I have had years of experience in this field, and continue to find evidence of life after death.

Rob Reid

I would like to say that my interest in the paranormal began when I was about 10 years old. That is when I first remember seeing an apparition. Ever since then I have been seeking answer's to where we go from here. I am in pursuit of the ultimate evidence and trying to provide a path for our future ghost hunter's. If I cannot obtain the true evidence that will prove once and for all that ghost's exist then I want to create a stable bridge for the new ghost hunters entering the field so that they will have some standards to go by. I hope one day to catch a full body apparition on video, that would be the perfect evidence for me.

Keri Bates

I started ghost hunting when I was at a young age, with my mother. I have seen things paranormal, and became curious. So I investigate, to prove life does exist after death. I don't believe in demanding that a ghost appear by taunting them. I feel that they were once human too, and deserve our respect as if they were still here. And believe it or not, when I ask if I can take their picture, I get more results.
Just remember.....who ya gonna call?

Tim Bozarth

I currently live in Mount Laurel, NJ and grew up in the Mount Holly area. I am 25 years old, and I have been investigating paranormal activity for the last three or four years with my wife Marisa and G.S.G.H.S. I started Ghost Hunting after I had my first personal encounter with an apparition at the Burlington County Prison. Ghost Hunting interests me because I have had my own experiences with the paranormal, however, I am still a bit skeptical. Because of my skepticism, I enjoy collecting my own evidence because I can verify the legitimacy of the evidence and that there has not been any tampering done to it. This is why I joined G.S.G.H.S. in the first place. I saw how evidence was collected and handled by the team, and I knew I could trust their findings.

Marisa Bozarth

The thing that I enjoy most about ghost hunting is the investigation. I enjoy collecting paranormal evidence and proving it to be authentic. Also, I have a love for history, and ghost hunting gets me to many historical places that I would not normally visit.

Wehttam Bates

I have never experienced the paranormal, but I became interested in my wife's investigations, and I came along with her. I must say, there are some interesting investigations that have intrigued me, so I continue to help her find answers to her quest.

Katrina Bates

My name is Katrina ....,Boni Bate's daughter. Most kids
I know don't believe in the paranormal, but I do. It all started when I was about 8 or 9 when I had my friend over, and we were playing hot potato.(There was a window in the wall to see threw) and by accident we threw it thru there (Now at the time my uncle past away a few months ago.)My Mom was in the other room with her friend, my dad was at the gym. We knew my uncles spirit was still with us. Now back to the ball, it was thrown back. When I went to go see who threw it, no one was there.(My uncle was sort of bald and big) Ii saw a shadow that looked like my uncles shadow, then it disappeared. I wasn't scared, I had mixed emotions. I see shadows every know and then, things out of the corner of my eye. That's the reason I became a paranormal investigator.

Gary Franta

I’m 32 yrs old and live in Trenton NJ with my wife Colleen and 14 yr old daughter Alyssa. I work at Hamilton Township Police Dept as a 911 Operator. I’ve always had an interest in ghosts. I love watching all the shows about them. My real interest in ghost hunting began when I was on a family trip to Gettysburg Pa. I took a few pictures and noticed images in them. Since then I joined Garden State Ghost Hunters and my interest grew. I’ve gotten voices, orbs and have had several unexplainable events occur while on investigations. I find that every investigation has its own rewards. My thinking is that we should all be interested in the paranormal since we'll all be on the other side some day.

Brian Michael

I'm 25, and live in Lumberton, NJ. My paranormal experiences began at a very young age. When i was growing up on my family farm in Tennessee, I saw things that scared me to death at that age. To be honest alot of it still frightens me. My reason for joining our group is to validate everything that I have experienced over the years. I am learning more every day about spririts, and why they are really here. Slowly my years of imprinted phobia are being replaced with curiosity. There is a saying "Knowledge is power", well the more I know the more comfortable I am doing what we do.

Dave Goldstein

I am the Technical Director of the group acting as a resource and a contributor to the acquisition of film, video and sound recordings. I have an extensive background in electronics as well so I help coordinate the more complex issues as they arise. By profession I am a manager of a divisional technology company and I currently reside in Southern New Jersey near the shore. My affection for video in the mid 1980’s led me to local television where I first met Boni. Since that time I have freelanced on several television projects in engineering, camera or sound. Always shooting the unusual, I have kept my eyes open looking for weird and offbeat imagery. Boni’s invitation to join the group afforded me an opportunity to contribute and to develop my interests in both the technology of today and the mystery of the unknown. The investigations we perform are a fascinating mix of science and sensitivity, a world where the boundaries are yet to be defined.

Ronnie

I'm Ronnie and live in Mount laurel N.J. and I joined Garden State Ghost Hunters Society to help prove that paranormal activity does exist. I have always felt that ghost do exist and are around us all the time. Joining this group also lets me go to Historical places, I am big into history.

Justinn - Investigator in Training

My name is Justinn, and I'm 16 years old. My first paranormal experience was when I was 10 years old. I was in Jamaica on vacation and my family took a tour of a haunted house on the island. While we were walking in the main hallway, there was a big painting of the lady that lived there and haunts the mansion. As I walked past it, I felt someone or something was watching me, and I felt as if the eyes were moving. I then took a picture looking down the steps and when I developed it, there was a white orb in the picture that looked like it was coming up the steps. Since then, I have been interested in ghosts and want to prove they are real. That is what I joined G.S.G.H.S. and want to become a paranormal investigator.

Jeff - Investigator in Training

I got into ghost hunting at a very young age. I was always fascinated by all things paranormal and read up on it with every chance I got. As I grew older, the interest never wavered, so I knew it was something that would continue for the rest of my life. I met the GSGHS through research for a book, and from there, asked to join their group so I could continue going on these investigations, and help them find some proof of older worldly existence. I hope to bring my knowledge of video to the group, to help capture something on film.

Well here we have two GSGHS members rubbing elbows with TAPS founders Jason and Grant. TAPS came out to investigate the Burlington County historical prison in Mt.Holly the last week in September. Marisa will be on this show talking with the guys and Tim got to meet them as well. So please enjoy the photos. You'll have to watch the show to see if TAPS found any evidence because Marisa isn't talking. A special thanks to Tim and Marisa for providing these photos. Check back to the site and we will post the air date for that particular show as soon as Marisa gets the air date.

Boni was able to shake hands with and meet the guys from Weird NJ/ US. She was able to chat with the fellas for a bit at a local book signing in Brick NJ on November 16th.
